Gather your family and friends for a golden hour evening at Sweet Piedmont Flower Farm!  Autumn blooms, a mountain breeze, a glowing skyline, and beautiful photos in our glasshouse! We'll have a photographer on-site should you like to receive a complimentary gallery of edited images or simply snap your own photos! Come and go as you please for a self-guided harvest + photo experience; feel free to walk about the property, set up some snacks at one of our picnic tables, or go searching for our friendly barn cats, Zinnia and Poppy. In attending this event, you agree to our Safety + Release of Liability Waiver!

Choose "The Flower Lover" ticket to harvest a mixed bouquet from any of our gardens. Select "The Dahlia Dreamer" to harvest a dozen dahlias of your choice from our new ombre field. Have any guests 10 years and younger? Opt for "The Little Bud" so they can harvest some flowers too!

Is this event family friendly?

Absolutely! All ages are welcome. If your group includes young children, please note that we do not provided childcare. It is up to parents and/or caretakers to ensure their safety and be mindful of designated (or employee-only) areas.

Are dogs permitted?

Yes! However, all pet owners must adhere to the following guidelines:

• Pets must be on a leash at all times with no exception
• Pets are not permitted in the flower beds, walkways, or fields
• Pets must be friendly with dogs and humans
• Owners must clean up after pets

What flowers will be available if I select the "Flower Lover" ticket? 

The list really does goes on... but here are some favorites: dahlias, zinnias, lisianthus, cosmos, delphinium, scabiosa, gomphrena, strawflower, rudbeckia, echinachea, amaranth, jewels of opar, fennel, assorted herbs, and plenty more!

What dahlias will be available if I select the "Dahlia Dreamer" ticket? 

We have over 40 varieties of dahlias in our rainbow dahlia field, including these fan favorites: Galen Rose, Jowie Winnie, Doris Duke, Rock Run Ashley, Golden Scepter, Lilac Time, Ivanetti, Koko Puff, and American Dawn

How do complimentary photos work? 

Once you and your crew harvest your bouquets, head on over to our glasshouse and pose with your people for free photos. Within a week after the event, you'll receive a private, complimentary gallery of lovely, edited images that you can download digitally. There are no hidden fees - truly, it's complimentary!

Where do I park?

Park along our side of our property along our fields and gardens. You'll see a large white barn on your right side of Weadon - enter into that entrance through the gate by foot and you've arrived! Check in with us in the even barn to receive your harvesting materials.

What should I wear?

We recommend close toed shoes whenever possible for safety reasons! For the most part, flowers can be harvested without a huge mess. For photos, come dressed in something you love!

What happens in the case of inclement weather?

This event is rain or shine - we don't mind a little drizzle! However, if thunderstorms are forecasted during event hours, we will cancel the event to protect the safety of our attendees and team. You will be notified via email and/or text about the cancellation and you will be free to use your tickets at any other Golden Hour You Pick event of the season. If you are unable to attend a future event, let us know and we'll refund your ticket(s)!
